The purpose behind SheldrOne — the services we provide, the future we are building, and the person who inspired it all.
To provide safe, reliable and practical drone solutions that help property owners, businesses and communities solve real problems. Starting with property documentation and construction monitoring, SheldrOne aims to expand responsibly into agriculture and other specialized applications as our training, equipment and authorizations grow.
To grow SheldrOne into a trusted Canadian drone-services business and, over time, a network connecting clients with qualified local pilots. Our longer-term vision includes agriculture, emergency and rescue support, responsible drone delivery, and training and employment pathways for young people and others facing barriers to opportunity.
SheldrOne was created in loving memory of my brother Sheldon. His name and spirit are at the heart of this journey. We are building more than a drone business: we want to create useful services, open doors for others, and turn a personal tribute into a lasting positive contribution to communities.

Our initial focus is Toronto, the GTA and surrounding communities. As SheldrOne builds experience, partnerships and operational capacity, our long-term goal is to expand services across Canada—from urban centres to rural and remote communities.

Already hold a Canadian drone pilot certificate? We welcome expressions of interest from pilots across Canada who may wish to collaborate on future property, construction, mapping and other approved aerial projects. SheldrOne is headquartered in Toronto and is developing its network—not advertising active jobs.
This is an interest list for a prospective network, not a promise of employment, contracts or income. Future assignments would require appropriate qualifications, insurance, safety checks and operating permissions.

All prospective clients, pilots, contractors and project partners must comply fully with applicable Transport Canada regulations, Canadian Aviation Regulations, airspace restrictions and authorizations, and all other applicable federal, provincial, territorial and municipal laws. Every proposed flight is subject to a safety and regulatory review. SheldrOne will not accept or conduct work that cannot be performed lawfully and safely.
SheldrOne recognizes and respects First Nations, Inuit and Métis peoples, their traditional territories, treaty and Indigenous rights, and their enduring relationships with the land. In planning drone operations, we will consider applicable treaties, Indigenous rights, land-access requirements, community protocols, privacy, cultural heritage and relevant laws. Where appropriate, we will seek permission and engage with Indigenous communities and responsible authorities before conducting operations on their lands. Transport Canada flight authorization does not, by itself, provide permission to access or operate from land.
As SheldrOne grows, we hope to build respectful relationships and explore training, employment and business opportunities with interested Indigenous communities, guided by their priorities.
